Social Media Leaders Meeting

I want to have a meeting with the leaders from each state's Wolf PAC on Twitter and Facebook. I'm thinking Google+ hangout would be fun, but I'm want to hear your opinions first. Does anyone have a better idea?

lots of occupy groups are working on the same thing to allow more people to vote and be heard, I will research and update you on my findings
commented 2011-11-02 09:10:54 -0400 · Flag is already set up; perhaps a good place to meet. I haven’t checked it out yet. :>}

Check out chatroom for more; but obviously not a good place to meet! too general.

Go to Paltalk and search “occupy” to see some chatrooms in action. They have a nice iphone app and video/ audio capability. I am often iphone dependent so Paltalk is cool.

Paltalk seems to be the chat room of choice. P.S. I had to retype this message because I was logged out.

Do we have a target date and time yet? Also, have we considered a Google Admin Group for emails through the group?

Conference call in would work and there are free services,Skype might be another possibility. I’m presuming Aaron you have everyone’s email and can do a group announcement time and place, agenda. You may find doing a national call with more than 20 people can get a little unwieldy unless everyone can be patient. Alternative could be a West and East of the Miss. River or ask for questions from one side of the country first.

Check w coalition. The site is set up w discussion pages. Also, it would be great to have them on board, as they’ve already shown great organization skill, w real democratic process in turning it over to the People!

Hey Aaron, I have a website going that may be able to be used as a template for each state (if you guys decide that is best) I just added a group chat box to it, it can have up to 25 people chatting at once, that should be enough for our first meeting, correct? I don’t think 25 states have social media leaders yet, but when we do get that many I can upgrade for $25 a month and make it capable of holding 75 people. I’ve never tried it, but see no reason it wouldn’t work, check it out if you want, the chat box is at the bottom of the page,

The problem with Google+ is you can only host a meeting with 10 people at a time, I have to look into using our free phone conference line, that may be the only way to do this.

What kind of a meeting are you looking for, Aaron? A text based one or a video based one?

Or if you guys have lots of spare cash, you could fly us all to California or something for a live meeting, eh?

I think Google+ is a great idea for the record, we should set something up.
By the way, Aaron, did you get my email about setting up a personal site for each state?? Just realized my gmail is acting a little weird and some of my emails didn’t get sent, so let me know if you got it,

I’m not really familiar with Google+, but I’m pretty sure I can wing it. When?
