Occupying State Houses politically

Even some of the state politicians are bought, we have to start electing candidates. Wolf-PAC should encourage and help train candidates to run alternative-media based campaigns. We need to prove that we can win elections without corporate money. Once we Occupy State Houses, we will have a much better chance pushing for a Constitutional Convention.

Yes I would like to see more progressive candidates in our State and Federal houses, but not to create even more hyper partisan, locked, “Do Nothing” assemblies.

This problem is not something, I believe, our assemblies and cure themselves of.

But we could elect people who would work to remove that influence internally, couldn’t we? It can’t hurt to attack from multiple angles.

I disagree that this should be a focus of Wof-PAC. The root cause is money within our political system. Even when we do get like minded candidates elected into the state houses, they would still be like minded candidates working in a bad system.

To regain lost trust in our political systems requires removing the potential influence of money. That is the goal of the amendment and should be to key goal of Wolf-PAC.
