SUCCESS.  Our Bill to Overturn Citizens United and get money out politics is on the agenda for the NJ State Senate Committee meeting.

1:00 PM - The Senate State Government, Wagering, Tourism & Historic Preservation Committee

Room 7, 2nd Floor, State House Annex, 125 W State St # 2, Trenton, NJ

2:00 PM - The Assembly State Government Committee (details TBA)

This event will be well planned to leverage media and impact.

UPDATE:  We have a bill in committee on both sides of the legislature.  Both committees meet next Thursday.:

SR-47 in The Senate State Government, Wagering, Tourism & Historic Preservation Committee

AR-86 in The Assembly State Government Committee

The Senate bill is on the agenda for next Thursday’s committee meeting.  We’re going show our support.  The Assembly Bill is not on the agenda and so they need to hear from us as well. 

Committee meetings will probably not resume again until mid-September.
